Bio: Oaishik is a Public Policy Scholar at the Kautilya School of Public Policy, specialising in technology policy, strategic communications, and economic policy. His research now encompasses digital governance and the implications of emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Geospatial technology and others. His expertise has been further enriched by internship experiences at the Government of Telangana, Geospatial World, and Mythos Lab. Oaishik's 4.5-year career includes a journalism tenure at The Indian Express and India Today, where he honed his skills in writing, production, management, and communications. He further enhanced his research expertise through year-long projects with UNICEF and UN Women, leveraging data-driven policy analysis.
